Welcome to L. Weston, a trading name of Weston Services Limited. By accessing our website and using our services, including digital strategy, web design, development, managed hosting, and optimisation, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using L. Weston’s website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

L. Weston provides a range of digital services, including strategy, web design, development, hosting, and optimisation. Specific project scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, and payment terms will be set out in a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or contract. L. Weston reserves the right to refuse service or terminate projects at its discretion.

3. Client Responsibilities

• Clients must provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for L. Weston to deliver services.
• Clients are responsible for obtaining rights or permissions for any content supplied to L. Weston for inclusion in projects.
• Clients must comply with all applicable laws in connection with the use of L. Weston services and deliverables.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement, L. Weston and its licensors retain ownership of all intellectual property, designs, code, and materials created or used by L. Weston. Clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use deliverables solely for their intended purpose. Any unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

5. Website Licensing

Subscription-based websites provided by L. Weston remain the property of L. Weston. Clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the website for the duration of their active subscription.

If a subscription is cancelled, expires, or payments cease, the licence to use the website will automatically terminate. L. Weston reserves the right to disable or remove the website from public access once the subscription ends.

Clients who purchase an Independent Build project (Custom Quote) will receive the completed website files upon full payment. These projects are not subject to the subscription licensing model described above.

Where clients use their own domain name, the domain remains entirely under the client’s ownership. L. Weston may configure domain settings solely for the purpose of providing website access.

6. Free Website Offerings

In certain cases, L. Weston may provide websites to businesses free of charge for portfolio, promotional, or other business reasons. By accepting a free website, the client acknowledges and agrees that L. Weston is not obligated to provide ongoing updates, maintenance, or support beyond what is explicitly agreed.

L. Weston reserves the right to terminate or end any free website offering at any time. If termination notice is provided, it will specify a maximum of 60 days until the website is taken offline. Updates or support may be stopped immediately at L. Weston’s discretion, even before the website is disabled.

7. Payment and Fees

Fees for services are as set out in the applicable SOW or contract. Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed terms. L. Weston reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if payment obligations are not met.

If a subscription payment fails, or if a Direct Debit mandate is cancelled, L. Weston reserves the right to suspend or disable the associated website until payment is successfully restored.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, L. Weston, its affiliates, and its suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from or related to the use of our website, services, or deliverables. Clients agree to indemnify and hold L. Weston harmless against any claims arising from misuse of services, third-party content, or failure to comply with these Terms.

9. Revisions and Errata

L. Weston strives for accuracy but does not guarantee that all website materials or service-related information are error-free, complete, or current. L. Weston reserves the right to correct or update any errors or omissions without prior notice.

10. Termination

L. Weston may suspend or terminate access to its services at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Clients remain responsible for payment for services rendered prior to termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

L. Weston reserves the right to update or amend these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated last revised date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
